What is Pod Coffee

Pod coffee packaging is quite similar to tea bags, round in shape, with a diameter of about 44mm. It includes an outer filter paper layer of a Pod designed according to ESE standards which can be decomposed, inside contains a pre-ground coffee powder amount of about 7 grams, which is compressed and wrapped within the filter paper.

Production process

Pod coffee is roasted using a modern and fully automated roasting system.

 

With the automation of coffee roasting processes from measuring coffee, controlling temperature to managing roasting time to create an excellent coffee flavor.

Pod Coffee packaging process

After roasting and grinding, the coffee is placed in a pod-making machine to create the perfect coffee Pod. The Pod is wrapped in environmentally friendly filter paper, which helps preserve the flavor and unique aroma of the coffee.

Certification

The filter paper used for Monaco Coffee Pods meets the EN13432 standard for material decomposability and is certified by TUV Austria.
